What happened to the "We-Love-You-Forever Discount"?

After we released Castle Crashers Remastered for Xbox One on September 9th, 2015, there was a very limited promotion in participating countries where the game was free. This promo was a limited, week-long run to allow users who had bought Castle Crashers on the XBLA to be able to transfer to the Castle Crashers Remastered version on the Xbox One, as long as they were owned on the same Xbox Live account. 

We decided to introduce the ‘We-Love-You-Forever Discount’ as a way of keeping it going a little bit longer for those who were unable to get it for free during the initial launch week.

This discount was originally designed to run for a short amount of time after the initial release....it wasn’t until 2020 that the discount came to an end, only five short years after it was initially intended to end, (just imagine if it had been light years!)

At this point in time and space, we aren’t currently offering the “We-Love-You-Forever” anymore. We do participate in plenty of sales, though, so be sure to keep your peepers peeled for those!
